It seems my theme suits the browser fine. The UI is very simple and friendly, in web 2.0 style. There’s no problem using Chrome to view my site.

But i don’t know why Google takes this name. Chrome, the kind of alloy?

I don’t think the release of Chrome will greatly affect the world and market of browser at this moment. Because i think only a few google fans would directly use it at its birth. But, perhaps google is relatively younger and more vigorous than Mozillia and Microsoft, they know what the web 2.0 era or even web 3.0 era needs. what the best browser should have to fit this era.

I don’t know, i’ll look.

Boring

My cousin came back to China from Seattle yesterday. She’s been in U of Washington CS Dept for a year. wow, i  still cannot believe that she decides to study computer science and even got into the dept. of UW. It’s amazing!

She just brought my brand new Nike Hyperdunk back which i ordered on footlocker.com

We can always see footlocker’s advertisement when CCTV 5 broadcasting NBA games, but i never knew what it was until oneday i went to their website by accident. They always have the brand new shoes and other sporting gears.

I purchased it for US$ 131 after the taxes and transportation fee. which is 300 RMB cheaper than i need to pay in China (with current exchange rate).

我在footlocker买这双鞋，税加运费一共花了131美金。如果换算过来的话只有900块钱。然而在中国的nike专卖店要卖到1250元。便宜了300多块钱。确实很超值。也确实看出中外的差距。通货膨胀啊，物价高啊。

所以有条件的朋友最好还是让能够带回来的亲友给你带一双鞋回来吧。上面的款式种类也比我们这里的多。。。这还是中外的差距啊。

Spain plays a great game against the USA and preesed the USA until the final minutes. We respect them.

Dwayne Wade played a big role when the us fell behind. His steal and fast break helped his team a lot. Kobe still played a key man, his three pointer and one was so important when Spain fell behind by only two points.

But I do think that those guys from Spain play as well as American guys. Navarro, Gasol Brothers, Rubio. Wow, fantastic plays were brought by them. I think the scouters from north America is gonna be busy in Spain.

These workers in China have a special name “Migrant worker”. That is, with their agricultural citizenship, they cannot be treated as city citizens do.

They spend all their time working and working to earn money for their living, but in fact they do not have a big budget on essentials, what are their main outcomes are the education fee for their children. Fortunately, the government has remitted these fees, their children can get a free 9-year education.

Sounds good?

Nope. the government can only give them a free 9-year education up to junior high. what about their senior high? their college? what can they get if they just finish their junior high? nothing, just following their parents’ way. In fact the kid above relatively has a better family income, there are still many Migrant worker families having problem affording foods. there are still big bosses refusing to pay them salaries when they finish their work.

what a terrible situation my homeland is having. perhaps things are getting better but who knows?

what i can do is just praying, that hope these children could have a good childhood and become successful when they grow up.

I just found a great wallpaper studio website WCREMIX, which means West Coast Remix.

I really admire and appreciate wcr’s works, looks so good. they must get the highest photoshop skills. they mainly do some artworks, remix about basketball, but it seems we can also request a wallpaper in another topic from their forum.

I used to think that WCRemix is an individual and only do basketball, but it’s actually not. Have a try that post a request on their forum to request a wallpaper of your idol. sounds good.

having talked about Kobe, about basketball. now i wanna write something about music, about my favorate rapper Eminem.

i used to like Chinese pop, but they’re sometimes in the same style. who’s kinda bardian is Jay Chou, whose songs are relatively classified as R&B. the following period i fell in love with Linkin Park’s music, alternative rock & metal. I like LP very much because its hybrid theory, mixing different types of music up. and Mike(Fort Minor)’s rap also let me like rap more and more.

what about rap? the first time i knew rap is about the age of 10. it’s about Snoop Dogg & 2pac. They let me know the world of Hip-Hop. But unfortunately, i didn’t like it very much. at that time i still liked Jay Chou i think.

8 mile this movie is the gate of my love of rap. i first knew about the rap battles, freestyle rappers’ rap. it impressed me very much. Bunny Rabbit, a very bardian individual that affected me so much. then i knew he’s Slim Shady, Eminem, Marshall Mathers. I fell in love with him as I fell in love with rap.

8 mile is still the most impressive item in my mind about rap till now. i often see it again when i feel upset just like when B.Rabbit broke up with her girlfriend. it always tells me to do something just like him, something that i really love, you’re really clinging to.

I don’t have idea about which rap song is my favorate. i cant tell exactly. I think the song i like most all the time is Lose Yourself and When I’m Gone.

Lose Yourself because of the Movie. when i stare at b.rabbit walking away with his rabbit ears sign, the music will start to play. impressively moved, i will can’t help myself rapping with my speaker. that’s also the only song i can rap… haha

When I’m Gone is a relatively new song from EM, from the curtain close LP, i can hear whine from him, he’s perhaps not rapping there, he’s about crying. to Hailie, to all the fans. I think this kind of classic songs can only be produced when a great man closes his curtain.

I still fancy Eminem though he’s been in retirement for a long period. but i’m still supporting him, he’s still develop his Hip-Hop empire in another way, just like his guy Dre. he’s becoming an producer. he found 50cent and pushed him to the thron of rap king. however, EM is also willing to give us a re-up. When i heard the vigorous intro of Eminem presents: the re-up, heard of we’re back. i knew Em’s back, he’s really back. and rumors always tell us that he will release his new LP this fall, i’m really expecting for it.

So in China, there aint many people listen to rap, listen to Eminem.Some think that it’s kinda filthy, full of explicit content, i say no.dirty words is an art of languages, dirty words are produced from sadness and anger, they involve speaker’s emotion. if a rapper without dirty words, we might cannot read the rapper’s emotion.

Eminem is not easily shouting there, he’s truly rapping, talking about what’s in his heart.Em’s raps have an pair of eyes. just staring at the beyond, telling us a man’s stories.

Imeem is the best one in my opinion. It not only offers music playing, but also has blogs, groups, file upload. It’s about a community site. I like the player of imeem very much. It has so much songs. For me, i like Slim Shady best and i can find many of him on radio that i have never heard. Look at the foot of the page, see that?

Last.fm is an old one, with a taste of web2.0. I used to use it on my site, but recently i don’t use it any more and i don’t know why.

Finetune’s player is impressive. I tried it but i didn’t think it suit me. however, the player of it might be the best one. I like it, it worths a try.

MediaMaster has a cool player, sometimes reminds me of iTunes. also as many songs.

eSnips is a file upload site. i don’t really now from when they started the music widget service.

I don’t love kobe as much as T-mac. But I know I respect him most.

Kobe has the talent that everyone admires. High jump ability, fast speed, he has all the requirements that the best basketball player should have, even more than those. But he’s not the kind of players that just play with their talents, Kobe is a hard-working guy that he shoots 1000 balls a day whenever it is. He even got up 6:00 in the morning to exercise the day after he won the championship.
